Nana Addo Didn't Inform Me Of "Rise And Build Tour".... Kwabena Agyapong .

The opposition New Patriotic Party's internal wrangling appears far from over as the General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has revealed that he has for a long time been excluded from the activities of his Flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo. In the latest twist to the tale, a "dishearted" Mr Agyepong says he only got to know about the NPP Presidential candidate’s ongoing ‘Rise And Build’ Tour on the internet. The beleaguered NPP Chief Scribe laments despite his efforts to push forward the agenda of the flagbearer, he is not granted the least courtesy and respect as demanded, and has on several occasions been kept in the dark on issues relating to official activities of the flag bearer.

The 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party commenced his month- long national tour last Thursday which saw him visiting the Volta Region, ahead of the commencement of the campaign for the 2016 general elections. Nana Akufo-Addo while on the visits will meet up with regional executives, constituency executives, and aspirants in the NPP parliamentary primaries, both winners and losers, in every region he visits. This is to prepare the party for a campaign that hopes to energize Ghanaians to help build and restore Ghana onto a path of progress and prosperity. However speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Kwabena Agyepong stated that though he has been unfairly treated for a long time, he had decided to remain quiet over such internal party issues.

He asserted out that the "deliberate orchestrated attempt in the media to discredit" him will not prevail. “They have tried to blame me for several things I have no idea about. I have tried all I can to advance the cause of Nana Addo but my efforts are not being appreciated. This is very disheartening and sad. "I have always tried to accompany Nana Addo everywhere he goes. You’ll recall that when the unfortunate incident happened at the Goil Filing station at Circle, I was there with Nana, but what you don’t know is that after we had planned to go there, the car which was to convey us to the incident scene took off before I got to our supposed meeting at the time we had agreed. I had to drive and rush to meet Nana Addo at Circle. The same thing happened when we were going to James Town, I had to find my way there.

"Again when we were going to Akropong to express our condolence over the death of Okuapiman Hene, Nana Addo Dankwa, though I had repeatedly informed the entourage that I was waiting for them at Aburi to make the journey together, to my utmost surprise Nana Addo’s convoy swiftly drove past me. Once again I had to meet them at Akropong alone. "What more can i do, I have a clear heart and I don’t hold anything against Nana Addo, the deliberate orchestrated attempt in the media to discredit me will fail" he lamented.

Government Must Pay E.C.G Before Tariff Adjustment Be Accepted.

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has called on government to pay debts owed the Electricity Company of Ghana. The party said it is only when government fulfils its financial obligations to ECG and other utility service providers that the recent tariff increases will accepted.

These were contained in a press released signed by the CPP’s Director of Communications, Nii Armah Akomfrah. Utility companies are currently engaging the public as part of processes to justify the request for tariff increases.
But CPP believe government cannot owe huge sum to the service providers and burden ordinary, struggling citizens. - See more at: http://www.myjoyonline.com/politics/2015/September-6th/govt-must-pay-ecg-others-before-new-tariffs-can-be-accepted-cpp.php#sthash.4QMT1JfA.oKIs2E9V.dpuf

Why Nana Addo Did Not Vote In District Assembly Elections

Press Secretary to New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo Addo has explained that his boss deliberately abstained from voting in yesterday’s district assembly elections. Eugene Arhin in an interview on Adom FM said Nana Addo would have shot himself in the foot if he had voted in the elections, which was characterized by apathy across the country. “Nana Akufo Addo has made it categorically clear that the current voters register is terribly flawed and that it is not fit for any purpose, which includes voting to elect a President, Members of Parliament and Assembly members. If he did cast his vote yesterday, it would have amounted to double standards and Nana Addo is not known for that,” he said. Political opponents of the Nana Akufo Addo are making a meal of his inability to cast his vote in the national exercise which is required of every Ghanaian upon attaining eighteen (18) years of age and beyond. The veteran politician has been lambasted for not showing a good example by discharging his civic responsibility. Source: adomonline.com

C.P.P Needs A General Secretary Who Bears The Characteristics Of Nkrumah And I Am The Person- Kabila.

James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr, also called Kabila, has likened his political capabilities to that of the superior leadership qualities of Ghana's First President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Making his submissions on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", the Convention People's Party (CPP) General Secretary Aspirant, urged his delegates to elect leaders who bear the characteristics of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in order to revamp the CPP. According to him, when elected General Secretary of the CPP, he will entirely devote his time and energy to the service of the party. To him, he does not aspire to be General Secretary "to work as part time General Secretary. I’m going to be a full-time General Secretary and that’s what the party needs today. Unlike UGCC, during its establishment; one particular problem they had was that all the leaders were engaging in politics under vocation – part time – They were engaged in business in their practice at the court and so forth. This is why they saw that they needed somebody who is, dynamic, vibrant and energetic…And they brought in Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. You need somebody with that characteristic to head the Secretariat of the party.” In his concluding remarks, the CPP Aspirant believed the party Congress "will be a contest between choosing those who will rebuild the party or those who will further disintegrate the party. Factionalism, divisiveness is not an option.” Source: peacefmonline.com

My Husband Told Me His Marriage With Kyeiwaa Was A Movie.

Florence Kyei, rival mistress to popular Ghanaian actress, Rose Mensah, a.k.a, Kyeiwaa, says she is least disturbed about her husband going in for a second wife. She told Kasapa FM on Monday that when she got to know about the news and confronted her husband, Daniel Osei, a.k.a. Akwasi Bronya, for marrying another woman without her notice, the man at the center of the controversy told her that his engagement with Kyeiwaa was a movie. “When he came home, he apologized to me saying that, it was a movie they shot and least expected that it will turn out this way. That is what he told me. I believed him because when one gets married, that same day, the couple will spend some time together but in the case of my husband, he came home and we both slept together till the next day,” she noted. When pushed further to substantiate her claim, she said “I know they got married but that is not news to me.” The Suame Magazine Spare Parts dealer further told Broni that she got to know about the marriage between her husband whom she’s been engaged with for the past twenty years and Kyeiwaa through a family source. Florence Kyei was admitted at the Suame Hospital in Kumasi when she received the news that her husband had tied the knot with actress Kyeiwaa. The actress got married to Bronya on Sunday in a ceremony attended by colleague actors, friends and family relations. Source: peacefmonline.com
