Flagstaff House now ‘dumping ground’ for non-performing ministers – NPP activists

Not quite finished yet. Very impressive.
A member of the communication team of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Boakye a.k.a Nana B has accused President John Mahama of turning the seat of government, the Flagstaff House into a ‘dumping ground’ for ineffective ministers or those accused of wrong doing.
According to him, the alacrity with which such ministers are reassigned to the Office of the President which is now a safe haven, is very worrying and unacceptable.
President John Mahama in his latest reshuffle on Monday reassigned Interior Minister Mark Woyongo who has come under a lot of public flak lately to the Presidency as Minister of State.
Mr Woyongo was criticized heavily for publicly stating that he was not privy to details surrounding the acceptance into the country of the two ex Guatanamo Bay Cell detainess, whose presence in Ghana has sparked a lot of controversy. Several political experts were of the view that he goofed in his answer, hence losing his position in the latest reshuffle has come as no surprise to many.
Contributing to a discussion on Peace FM Tuesday, Nana Boakye recountered how President Mahama was quick to reassign former Sports Minister, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah to the Office of the President in the wake of his alleged acts of corruption during Ghana’s participation at the 2014 World Cup tournament.
“This trend is very worrying, you’ll recall that soon after Ghana’s world cup debacle where Hon. Afriyie Ankrah reportedly ensured the wanton dissipation of the tax payers money, President Mahama took him from the sports ministry to the Office of the President, at a time Ghanaians were calling for his prosecution.  Why does the president re-assigns such appointees to the Presidency, for what… for them to continue the same mess they were doing” he asked?
Nana Boakye added: “A reshuffle is in the offing, and that will be done by Ghanaians during the November 7 Presidential election. Ghanaians will reshuffle President Mahama out of office as punishment for the hardship he has made us suffer.”

Nayele Pops Up Again...Threatens To Release Video That Will Cripple Prez Mahama's Gov't

In spite of its commendable performance over the last three years, President John Dramani Mahama and his NDC administration in the coming days will face its severest scandal test should incarcerated cocaine goddess, Nayele Ametefe, carry through an intended threat.

A source close to Nayele Ametefe, also known as Angel Adu Gyamfi, who is currently serving eight year jail term in the United Kingdom for carrying 12 kilos of cocaine into the Kingdom, sayS she is threatening to release an explosive X-rated video that is likely to bring the Mahama government on its knees.

Even though the Mahama administration has survived plethora of scandals since its inception, the impending embarrassment, our source says, will dwarf and possibly, obliterate all the achievements chalked by the National Democratic Congress government in the last seven years.

The cocaine goddess, The aL-hAJJ is reliably informed, is threatening to let out damning sex tapes involving a prominent Chief Executive of a sensitive and major state enterprise and an influential member of the governing party who, despite assurances of securing her freedom after her arrest, has since abandoned her.

The said CEO, described as haughty and snobbish and who in recent times suffered bad press, the source revealed, had turned the stunning Nayele into a “night nurse” to the extent that, even the night before her arrest, they had several bouts of sex.

Another dependable source close to the jailed Ghanaian/Australian drug dealer told The aL-hAJJ that Nayele has been incensed for being used and dumped by the said CEO who our investigations revealed recently traveled to the UK to plead with her after information hit him that the jailed cocaine baroness was threatening to release the videos.

“Nayale is mad at him (the CEO). She feels used and dumped. After turning her into sex machine with the assurance that he will protect her, he abandoned her after her arrest. The most painful aspect is that he slept with her the night before Nayale was arrested,” the source revealed.

The source added that “Nayele has several sex videos with him and she has threatened to make them public to avenge what that man did to her. Nayele will not go down alone; that, I can tell you for a fact.”

The married under pressure CEO, who is a very powerful official in the Mahama-led NDC government and was also rumored to be eyeing the running mate slot for the November elections, this paper has gathered, has been in long standing amorous relationship with Nayele until her arrest on the night of November 2014 at the Heathrow airport in UK.

Reports are that most of the “special” treatments Nayele was accorded during her numerous foreign travels was facilitated by this CEO ‘boyfriend’ who had turned her into a sex slave with a promise she would be adequately protected to avoid arrest for her illicit trade.

The Ghanaian/Austrian cocaine dealer was on January 6, 2015 sentenced to eight years and eight months on her own plea by the Isleworth Crown Court in London after she pleaded guilty to carrying 12 kilos of cocaine to the United Kingdom.

Briefing the court, lawyer for the single mother of three noted that, Nayele came into contact with powerful people in 2004 and her life changed dramatically. She travelled extensively with influential people as their companion, he stated.

Nana Addo is my friend, Mahama isn't – EC Boss

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission has revealed that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a close friend.

Speaking on Morning Starr Monday, Charlotte Osei told host Nii Arday Clegg that she has no friendship with President Mahama but has known Nana Addo for many years.

“Is John Mahama my friend? No, I have met him in the course of work, have I met Nana Addo, Yes, he actually is my friend...but I do know both of them.

“With Nana, being a young lawyer, I have known him for many years,” Mrs. Osei said.

Mrs. Osei who was the former head of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) was appointed by President Mahama as EC boss in June last year to replace Afari Gyan who retired after 22 years as EC head.

The opposition NPP and pressure group ‘Let My Vote Count Alliance’ have accused the EC boss of bias after several calls for a new voters’ register were rejected by the EC.

Both the NPP and the LMVCA have vowed to challenge the decision of the EC in court.

According To President Mahama, This Is Why Ghana's Economy Has Been Struggling.

It’s no news that Ghana’s economy is struggling and many times we finger the president for it.

Despite all we know, that is corruption, improper mismanagement of funds etc. President Mahama has opened up about why Ghana’s economy has been struggling since he assumed office.
In an interview with Financial Times (FT), President Mahama acknowledged that it was time for resolute action to save the economy.
Explaining why Ghana’s GDP growth fell from a high of 14.4 per cent in 2011 to a projected 3.9 per cent growth in 2015, the President pointed to overspending, which he said had been occasioned by high public sector wage bill and other critical government expenses.
He said payment of the wage bill – which formed 72 per cent of government expenditure in 2012 — and huge energy subsidy bills had fuelled fiscal deficits that crippled the economy.
According to him, things began to go wrong for the economy when, following high growth in 2010 – fuelled by a boom in commodity prices and the commencement of oil production in Ghana – the government felt the need to give workers better remuneration.
The FT quoted President Mahama as saying: “As the economy grows you want to remunerate the public sector better to motivate them?.?.?.?you want to put in infrastructure, you want to do a lot of things?.?.?.?You can pile on debt quite quickly.
“Any shocks in the international [commodities] market affect you. And that’s exactly what happened to Ghana,” Mr Mahama said. “After 2010, we suffered a severe drop in cocoa prices?.?.?.?then the gold price collapsed?.?.?.?then oil, too.”
President Mahama, however, stressed that his government was committed to cutting back on spending to reduce the fiscal deficit and stabilise the economy.
“It [the fiscal crisis] was created by a series of factors and it is taking some time to resolve. It comes with a lot of pain and sacrifice. “But there is [now a] commitment to ensure we level out the economy and stabilise it — and keep it stable. It is something all Ghanaians are focused on and willing to do,” he said.
The President went on to pledge not to raid the government chest to finance his campaign ahead of the 2016 General Election.
“We have a commitment?.?.?.?even in an election year. We must keep expenditures under control, we must make sure we increase revenues and keep wages under control,” he said.
Ghana’s deal with the IMF is expected to boost efforts to restore fiscal balance and fuel a transformation of the economy, according to Finance Minister, Seth Terkper.
